ATTENTION: DRUG PRODUCT RECALL!!!

Novo Nordisk has issued a notification for the above NDC and lot due to an illegitimate serial number. The counterfeit product features lot number PAR0362 AND an illegitimate serial number beginning with the first eight digits of 51746517. Lot number PAR0362 is an authentic lot number. Only when the lot number PAR0362 is coupled with the eight digits 51746517, it is deemed counterfeit and should not be used.This notification is to the Consumer level.

Consumer/Patient/Caregiver Notice:
"Consumers that have the product being recalled should check their Ozempic box to see if they have lot number PAR0362 AND serial number beginning with the first eight digits 51746517. If the patients have both, the product is deemed counterfeit and should not be used. Please note that lot number PAR0362 is an authentic lot number and without the illegitimate serial number the product is still safe for use. If a patient is in possession of a counterfeit product, you are highly encouraged to return the recalled product."
